Main shaft bushing: The main shaft bushing (also known as cone bushing, slight bushing, cone copper bushing, cone bushing) is a very critical copper accessory in the cone crusher. His role is to:
a、 Reduce the sliding friction of equipment during operation and lower power loss;
b、 Greatly increase the service life of the wear-resistant parts of the cone crusher, reduce maintenance and repair costs, and strive for higher equipment utilization;
c、 Effectively protect the steel parts in contact with it from wear and tear, and make it easy to replace copper parts when they wear out. The installation position of the main shaft bushing is located between the main shaft and the eccentric sleeve of the crusher, which bears a very high pressure. Its material and size requirements are relatively high, especially the clearance between it and the main shaft and the steel eccentric sleeve, which is the most important technical difficulty. Due to manufacturing and installation errors, it is easy to cause serious equipment accidents such as cracks or even fractures in the main shaft of the cone crusher and cracks in the cone bushing during operation. So choosing the material and processing size ensures that the spindle bushing is the key to the normal operation of the equipment. The wear frequency of the spindle bushing is moderate.

Recommended material for crusher spindle bushing
1. Tin Bronze
Typical brand:
ZCuSn10Zn2 (national standard, containing 10% tin and 2% zinc)
C90500 (American standard SAE, containing 88% copper, 10% tin, 2% zinc)
characteristic:
High wear resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for low-speed and heavy-duty working conditions.
Tin element enhances hardness, while zinc enhances fatigue resistance.
Commonly used as lining for cone crushers and jaw crushers.
2. Aluminum Bronze
Typical brand:
ZCuAl10Fe3 (national standard, containing 10% aluminum and 3% iron)
C95400 (American standard, containing 11% aluminum and 4% iron)
characteristic:
High strength, impact resistance, and high temperature resistance (up to 400 ℃).
Iron element enhances compression and wear resistance, suitable for high impact working conditions such as impact crushers.
Corrosion resistance is better than tin bronze, but the cost is higher.

3. Lead Bronze
Typical brand:
ZCuPb20Sn5 (national standard, containing 20% lead and 5% tin)
C93200 (American standard SAE, containing 7% tin and 15% lead)
characteristic:
Lead provides excellent self-lubricating properties, reducing friction and bite risks.
Suitable for high-speed, low load, or poorly lubricated working conditions (such as vibrating screen liners).
Low mechanical strength, need to avoid heavy impact.
4. Manganese Brass
Typical brand:
ZCuZn40Mn2 (national standard, containing 40% zinc and 2% manganese)
characteristic:
Low cost, good corrosion resistance, suitable for small and medium-sized crushers.
Manganese enhances hardness and wear resistance, but its load-bearing capacity is not as good as bronze.
