Copper sleeve repair methods have those categories

The copper sleeve is mainly divided into integral bearing and split bearing. The repair method can be selected according to the following categories:

  Integral bearing

  (1) When the bearing hole is worn, it is usually repaired by replacing the bearing and boring, reaming or scraping the bearing hole; it can also be repaired by plastic deformation, that is, shortening the bearing length and reducing the inner diameter.

  (2) After the bearing hole without bearing bush is worn, it can be repaired by inserting sleeve method, that is to say, the bearing hole is drilled large, the processed bearing bush is pressed in, and then the fine machining is carried out according to the journal to meet the matching requirements.

  Independent bearing

  (1) In the following cases, replacement of bearing shells usually requires replacement of new ones:

  Scraping and running in can not save serious burning loss, large area of tile mouth burning loss and large wearing depth;

  The bearing alloy of bearing bush is thinned to the limit size;

  The bearing bush is seriously cracked.

  Serious wear, too large radial clearance, unable to adjust

  (2) Scuffing or serious scuffing (tile burning) accidents often occur in the operation of glued bearings.

  (3) Adjust the radial clearance bearing to increase the radial clearance due to wear, resulting in oil leakage, vibration, accelerated wear and other phenomena.

  (4) With the increase of running time, the bearing wear increases gradually, the journal sinks, the contact angle increases, the lubrication condition deteriorates, and the wear intensifies.

  (5) When the bearing has wear, scratch, fracture and other defects, repair welding and surfacing can be used.

  Use flat chisel, scraper and other tools to clean the parts requiring repair welding, so that the surface is free of oil stains, residues and impurities, showing metallic luster;

  Repair the bearing by gas welding with the same welding rod as the bearing material. The thickness of the welding layer is generally 2-3mm, and the deeper defects can be repaired in multiple layers.

  When the repair welding area is large, the bearing bottom can be immersed in water for cooling, or intermittent operation to allow cooling time.

  Rework is required after repair welding. Local repair welding can be done by hand trimming and scraping. Large area repair welding can be carried out on the machine tool
